What it is-

In 2012, I moved to Tennessee. At the end of that summer, I went to the state fair. Cruised around the creative arts building and said to myself, I oughta enter some things next year.

Then I forgot about it. Remembered on what turned out to be 2 days before the registration deadline- not much time to figure things out. I went for it anyway, and entered a few things I had laying around, already made. I won some ribbons! I'd forgotten the oh-so-powerful draw of ribbons.
Blue ribbon on my blouse.

Red on my men's shirt
Third for this recycled material shirt.
Another red on my costume.

I was delighted. Now, I've often said "anything worth doing is worth doing to excess"- that's where this blog comes in.

I'm starting now, and I'm gonna enter as many classes as I can next year. Some of this will be easy, as it's stuff I've made many times before in one form or another. Some of it will be new territory- things I've never even thought of making before. I think it'll be a lot of fun!
